Orlando Film Festival 2012 Winners

The Orlando Film Festival welcomed a slate of talented independent cinema to the City Beautiful October 17-21. The Festival aims to promote culture and arts in Downtown Orlando by exposing wide audiences to unique and diverse stories told by independent filmmakers. This year did not disappoint.

West Orlando News spotlighted “Theresa is a Mother” with my Must See review. This was one of the best films I have seen in a long time. “Theresa is a Mother” would later win both Best Feature and Best Director for co-directors husband and wife team Darren and C. Fraser Press.

There were plenty of winners in this year’s slate of films. If you missed the action, be sure to keep an eye out for next year’s festival and other opportunities to support the Arts in Orlando.
