Another Week of Saturday SunRail Service: Check the November 19th Schedule & Try the Train

SunRail’s special Saturday service will continue on November 19th – but don’t expect it every weekend quite yet. This week’s Saturday service will help riders attend the Florida Classic, Orlando Magic game and numerous other events happening along the SunRail route. However, SunRail will NOT be running special service the following Saturday on November 26th.

The first southbound train from the DeBary station this weekend will leave at noon in order to accommodate fans who may be attending the Florida Classic football game at Camping World Stadium. The second southbound train will not leave the DeBary station until 2pm. The full schedule for November 19th is below.

SunRail will be collecting fares on Saturday and SunRail officials are advising riders to get to the train stations 30 minutes early, especially if planning to purchase tickets at the vending machines on the platforms.

Other events accessible by train this weekend include: Don Pasquale at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center (Church Street Station); The Happy Elf at the Orlando Repertory Theater (Florida Hospital Health Village Station); Musical Madness, Dino Safari and Guided Planet Tour at the Orlando Science Center (Florida Hospital Health Village Station); Gladdening Light Talk: Fresh Verdicts on Joan of Arc & The Passion of Joan of Arc at Rollins College Bush Auditorium (Winter Park Station); and the Bach Festival Society Concert: Voices of Light / The Passion of Joan of Arc at Rollins College Bush Auditorium (Winter Park Station).

There’s also the West End Beer Fest at 2nd Street in downtown Sanford (use Sanford Station) and free shuttles are available between the station and Historic Downtown Sanford. Call 407-302-2585 for shuttle times and reservations. SunRail riders can also receive a 25% discount with Uber from the SunRail station within the city limits by using the promo code SANFORD.

If you’ve never been on SunRail, this is another great weekend to get out there and ride the train. Just don’t forget, there won’t be SunRail Saturday service next weekend on November 26th.
