Commissioner Hill Presents Employment Training & Job Fair for District 5

Employment Jobs Training Regina Hill District 5Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill will host her first Community Employment Training and Job Fair for District 5 on December 11th at the Northwest Community Center. The community job fair is free and open to the public.

Commissioner Hill has signed up at least 25 employers who will be hiring on site at the job fair. Potential job candidates of all ages, experience levels and industries are encouraged to attend the event. Companies that hire ex-offenders will also be participating in the job fair.

The event will take place between 10am and 2pm. Professional dress is required and all attendees are encouraged to bring a resume. The Northwest Community Center is located at 3955 W.D. Judge Drive (32808).

The companies participating have current vacancies and are looking for full-time, part-time and apprentice positions. Employers who are confirmed include Coca-Cola Company (specifically seeking CDL licensed female workers), Walt Disney World Resort, VA Medical, OCPS Transportation, Mears Transportation, BFA Environmental, Career Source, UPS, Horus Construction Reunion Resort and the Orlando Blueprint office.

The event will also provide attendees the opportunity to benefit from success tips, clothing vouchers and job training sessions.
